Job Overview:RWJBarnabas Health is looking to add a qualified full-time Physical Therapist in Bridgewater, NJ, located in the TD Bank Ballpark. Sports Physical Therapy and Performance Center is a freestanding, outpatient clinic part of the largest academic health system in New Jersey. We deliver patient-centered care with a focus on one-to-one manual therapy with ample treatment time for each patient. Excellent work environment with a private practice feel, but the benefits and resources of a hospital systemQualifications:Required:Graduate of an accredited program in Physical Therapy at the Bachelor s or Master s levelLicensed in NJPreferred:Active membership in a professional organizationCertifications and Licenses Required:BLS certification through American Heart AssociationScheduling Requirements:Day Shift, 40 hours/weekFull Time ScheduleEssential Functions:Strong teamwork, communication, and documentation skills are required for intra-disciplinary and interdisciplinary communicationExamines and evaluates patients upon referral from a physician, podiatrist, dentist, or nurse practitionerPlans and implements specific treatment for patients to reverse impairments, restore function, and facilitate the development of skills essential for adaptive and productive livingParticipates in PI and physical therapy clinical education programsOther Duties:Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
