We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with communication and swallowing disorders. You will work with patients of all ages, from infants to the elderly, in a variety of settings including hospitals, schools, rehabilitation centers, and private practices.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to diagnose communication and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Provide therapy to improve speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing function
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Educate patients and their families on communication and swallowing strategies
- Stay current with advances in the field of speech language pathology
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- State licensure or eligibility for state licensure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
- Knowledge of evidence-based practice in speech language pathology
