We have a challenging and exciting opportunity for an Associate Quality Manager who is energetic, can multi-task and problem solve, and has the drive and motivation to learn and grow in a fast-paced setting in an expanding business.

Primary Purpose:

Work with production, engineering, purchasing and vendors to facilitate a continuous improvement process. Provide technical and quality support for all manufactured products. Ensure products are built to engineering drawings and specifications. Ensure successful development, implementation and maintenance of all quality systems within FNA Group. Manage Quality staff, supplier quality, quality quarantine area, field returns and nonconformance reporting.

Job Description:Manage a team of up to 5 Quality Auditors.Maintain constant surveillance over quality auditing team and all quality functions.Maintain incoming and outgoing inspection programs.Maintain PPAP inspection procedures.Create NCR and communicate with vendors/supply chain.Manage quality quarantine area, which includes MRB, Internal Damage, RMA's and product repairs.Analyze nonconforming product found on production lines, facilitate handling of goods.Interview, hire and train staff.Create and review control plans, SOPs and other documentation to ensure quality requirements are met.Manage and administer calibration standards.Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly quality reporting and updates.Interface with production teams, operations, vendors and customers, to resolve quality issues.Conduct training sessions to keep QA personnel informed on procedures, methods, use of equipment and other techniques.Ensure you keep your department fully staffed according to the approved QA organizational chart.Confer with and in conjunction with Engineering and Manufacturing personnel, resolve problems relative to product designs, specifications, materials, tooling, and productions operations affecting quality.Qualifications:

Required:

Strong floor implementation abilities.Ability to define problems, collect data, analyze results, and draw conclusions.Ability to effectively present information and train a group of people.Must be able to implement improvements at production floor level.Knowledge of Six Sigma tools, primarily capability studies.Must be able to read a mechanical blueprint.Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.Knowledge of SPC.Knowledge of ISO framework.Must be able to create daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to ownership.Preferred:

Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification.

Education/Certification:

Degree and/or Quality Certification (Data Analysis, Quality Process Improvements, etc...) preferred.
