**URGENT FILL**Position Overview:Bravo Recruiting Solutions is seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team on a 12-week contract basis.. Speech-Language Pathologists are responsible for diagnosing and treating speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages. They work with clients to develop personalized treatment plans and help them improve their communication skills and overall quality of life.Key responsibilities:Conducting comprehensive evaluations to assess clients' speech and language abilitiesDeveloping and implementing individualized treatment plans to address each client's specific needsProviding therapy to improve speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilitiesCollaborating with other healthcare professionals, educators, and family members to provide holistic care for clientsMonitor patients' progress and adjust treatment as neededMonitoring and documenting clients' progress throughout treatmentKeep detailed records of patients' progress and treatment plansProviding education and counseling to clients and their families on communication strategies and techniquesKeeping up-to-date on the latest research and advancements in the field of speech-language pathologyAdhering to ethical and professional standards set forth by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and other relevant organizationsQualifications:Master's degree in Speech-Language PathologyCertificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHAState licensure or certification to practice as a Speech-Language PathologistStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively with individuals of all ages and backgroundsExperience working with diverse populations and in a variety of clinical settingsCommitment to continuing education and professional developmentCompassion and empathy for patients and their familiesPreferred qualifications:Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)Bilingual proficiency in a second languageExperience working with children or geriatric populationsKnowledge of assistive communication devices and technologyLocation: Omaha & Lincoln areasJob Type: Full-time, 12-Week ContractThis position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with communication and swallowing disorders.
