Spencer Springs Animal Hospital, led by Medical Director Dr. Heba Abouyoussef, is seeking an experienced Associate DVM with strong surgical and dental skills to join our growing team!

Due to our expanding client base, we're adding an additional associate to our well-established animal hospital in Las Vegas. We are a focused, animal-centric, team-oriented group of hardworking but fun-loving veterinary professionals. As an AAHA accredited facility, Spencer Springs Animal Hospital is committed to providing the highest level of in-patient care and exceptional client service to our pet owners. Our compassionate team includes Veterinarians, LVT's, and dedicated hospital support staff. We are open Monday through Saturday to serve our community.

Equipment Perks Spencer Springs Animal Hospital is equipped with an on-site IDEXX laboratory and a full pharmacy. Our skilled veterinary staff offers comprehensive services including complete dental care, routine surgery, general medicine, and diagnostic care. We prioritize preventive medicine and strive to keep vaccinations and other preventive care needs affordable for our clients.

Spencer Springs Animal Hospital is located 15 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. Residents enjoy a diverse culinary scene, bustling nightlife, and endless recreational activities. Supports excellence in client experienceWorks collaboratively with HM and Medical DirectorPractices high quality, gold standard medicineExamine, diagnose, and treat animals brought into the veterinary clinic/hospital for medical carePerform surgical procedures as needed, including routine spay/neuter operations as well as more complex surgeriesPrescribe and administer medications, treatments, and preventative care plansCounsel pet owners on animal health, nutrition, behavior, and overall wellbeingInterpret diagnostic tests such as x-rays, blood work, etc. and develop treatment plansMaintain comprehensive patient medical records and documentationAssist in emergencies and provide urgent/critical care when neededStay up-to-date on new veterinary techniques, medications, and best practicesCOMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE:

Valid and in good standing licensed veterinarian within the state of Nevada2+ years of clinical experience, preferredStrong clinical skills and sound medical judgmentGood communication skills, both written and verbalTime-management and delegation abilitiesExercises sound judgment and demonstrates exemplary decision-making skillsProfessionalism and courtesy in all interactions with others
