Director, Investor Relations
reports directly to the CEO and works closely with the CFO and is responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of a successful investor relations strategic plan for the Company, will interact on regular basis with the executive team and be responsible for the day to day management. Provides critical leadership and information to help build awareness and understanding of the Company's objectives, strategies and achievements among key audiences.

Essential Role ResponsibilitiesAssist in developing and implementing the Company's investor relations corporate communications planIdentifying and building relationships with targeted institutional investors and analystsCreate and manage a strong reputation by demonstrating consistent and clear communication between internal and external parties.Developing written communications such as press releases, presentations and obtaining management/legal approvals as appropriateSchedule conference calls, webcasts and managing face-to-face interaction with the financial community during investment conferences, road shows and the Company's analyst day and stockholder meetingsDevelop and propose short- and long-term goals for the Investor Relations function in accordance with overall Company strategiesProviding accurate, consistent and timely responses to all external inquiries from investors, analysts and media. Maintain knowledge of, and complying with, all relevant legal, regulatory and professional standardsAssist in managing the overall content of the Company's website, Intranet and social media postingsActively participate, develop and support the Company's ESG initiatives, activities and programs
Non-essential Role Responsibilities Include
Managing and optimizing the network of suppliers that provide investor relations tools and resources to the CompanyPromote company culture and participate in employee activitiesTravel will be required

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree required and/or Master's degree preferred in communications, business and/or a relevant scientific disciplineEight - twelve years of relevant experience managing investor relations and corporate communications programs in a public biotech or pharmaceutical companyExtensive experience working with executive management, superior skills in financial analysis, oral and written communication and relationship buildingStrong proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and technically savvy in social media including X (formerly Twitter), LinkedInStrong understanding of SEC laws and securities disclosure requirements, as well as filing requirementsAbility to present and respond to questions about complex scientific and clinical dataOutstanding organizational skills and attention to detailStrong knowledge and fluency in the biotechnology industry matters
Benefits and Compensation
CompensationSalary. Range, dependent on experience: $185,000 - $215,000 yearly.Annual incentive bonusGenerous equity package
