Job Title: Logistics/Freight Sales Manager

Our client is a reputable logistics company located in the Galena Park area. With a focus on providing efficient freight and Less than Truckload (LTL) services, they are committed to delivering exceptional logistics solutions to their clients. They are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join their team as a Freight Sales Manager.

Location: Galena Park/Pasadena, Texas

Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership:

Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and objectives. Develop and implement sales strategies to expand the company's customer base and increase revenue. Provide guidance and support to sales team members, assisting them in prospecting, negotiating, and closing deals.

Business Development:

Identify new business opportunities and target markets for freight and LTL services. Cultivate relationships with potential clients and key stakeholders in the transportation industry. Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.

Process Improvement:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies in the freight sales process and implement solutions to streamline operations. Identify areas for process improvement and optimization to enhance productivity and efficiency. Implement best practices and standardized procedures to improve the overall sales process.

Client Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. Address client inquiries, concerns, and escalations in a timely and professional manner. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and recommendations on freight and LTL services.

Team Building and Development:

Recruit, onboard, and train new sales team members as needed. Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to sales staff to support their professional growth and development. Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment focused on achieving collective goals.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. Proven track record of success in freight sales, with experience selling LTL services preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with clients. Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools. Prior experience in process improvement or operations optimization is a plus. Benefits:
