Job Summary/Company:Sparks Group in collaboration with its Government Contractor in global Research, is searching for a proactive and analytical Financial Reporting Manager. This individual will report directly to the Deputy CFO and will be is responsible for managing accurate financial reports, audits and compliance. This individual plays a critical role in developing and implementing proper internal controls while supporting business objectives and the strategic plan. Responsibilities:Support the Executive team in financial reporting, consolidation of financial results, year-end close process and external audit preparationPrepare monthly financial statements for internal stakeholders and manage quarterly and annual financial reportingAssist in preparing various audits including financial statement audit, Uniform Guidance audit, 403(b) audit, FORM 5500 audit, and IRS Form 990Help establish and enforce new accounting and finance policies to enhance organizational efficiencyProficiency in accounting and financial reporting software applicationsAssist in designing internal controls and maintaining internal control documentationRequired Skills:

In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and experience in not-for-profit accounting and financial reportingProficiency in financial reporting systems and Excel for report development. CostPoint experience preferredExperience in a Multicurrency/International environmentStrong ability to drive process improvement, excellent communication skills, both oral and writtenExperience in creating financial reports, reporting packages, and ensuring quality standards

This job is Hybrid Remote.

Pay Range: Hourly $50.00 to $60.00
