Job Summary:
The Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) at Bubble Skincare is responsible for managing the company's annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and cash flow planning. This role involves collaboration with various departments, particularly Accounting, Supply Chain, and Commercial, to align financial operations and optimize processes. The director is also tasked with monitoring financial performance, conducting ad-hoc financial analyses, and driving improvements in FP&A processes through digitalization and automation.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Owner of the company's overall annual budget and quarterly forecasts Lead the financial planning process working effectively across the organization Collaborate with Accounting on aligning Chart of Accounts, categorizations, and expense timing between actuals and budgets Produce the Management financial package monthly incorporating budget vs actual reporting, variance analysis, sector/customer/product P&Ls, KPI dashboard, and Balance Sheet analysis Own the company's cash flow planning model, updating monthly or as-needed Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities Work with department heads to craft realistic budgets and develop reporting feedback loops for budget vs actual reporting on an ongoing and monthly basis Be a key partner to Accounting, Supply Chain, and Commercial departments to guarantee a seamless information and process flow between the various functions Promote continued improvement of FP&A processes via digitalization, automation and value added analysis Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and modeling to support decision-making processes, investment evaluations, and scenario planning Identify any significant risk to the business operation and communicate to stakeholders. Qualifications:
5+ years of FP&A experience in CPG and/or retail Work effectively across multiple departments in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment Results oriented, proactive, capable of managing multiple deadlines Demonstrate strong strategic, analytical and critical thinking skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present financial information to a variety of audiences What we offer:
