Travel RN - Telemetry - 3 Giles 48's
Shift : Nights / 7p-7a, 12x4, 48 hrs per week, will consider 36's, EOW
Length : 13 weeks
Requirements:
KY License2 years of acute care RN experienceDiploma or AssociateTitrate medication: Heparin and protonix drips per orderNorton work history Docusign RequiredBLSNIHRequired Skills:
• IV insertion
• Blood draws
• PICC/Central Line management:
• Obtain 12 lead EKG
• CPAP/BiPAP
• Trach Care
• Traction
• Epidural/PCA pump
• Feeding tubes
• Continuous bladder irrigation
• Wound vac

Unit Name/Type of unit: 3 Giles- acute specialty care# beds/procedures: 35 beds, oncology overflow, but no chemo, orthopedics, arm/hand surgery, hysterectomy, bariatric weight loss surgery, general med surge patientsPatient ratio: 4-5 patients to 1 nurse, 10-12 patients to 1 PCATop diagnosis/procedures: Ortho, oncology, pancreatitis, arm/hand infections, weight loss surgery, CKD, sickle cellCommon equipment used: EKG, bladder scanner, epidural pump, IV pump, feeding tube pump, PCA pumpCommon medications given: most medications are given on this unit, unless they are ICU specific, or more complicated cardiac medicationsEPIC ChartingEpic Travel Staffing:
