This is expected, but we have a central monitor unit that reads our stripsTop diagnosis/procedures: Ortho, oncology, pancreatitis, arm/hand infections, weight loss surgery, CKD, sickle cellCommon equipment used: EKG, bladder scanner, epidural pump, IV pump, feeding tube pump, PCA pumpDoes RN need to be able to titrate medication? Heparin and protonix drips per orderCommon medications given: most medications are given on this unit, unless they are ICU specific, or more complicated cardiac medicationsEPIC ChartingScrub Color (are they provided): They are not provided, nurses wear galaxy blue, PCAs light grayRequired Skills:• IV insertion• Blood draws• PICC/Central Line management:• Obtain 12 lead EKG• CPAP/BiPAP• Trach Care• Traction• Epidural/PCA pump• Feeding tubes• Continuous bladder irrigation• Wound vacHyur Health Job ID #1301.
