SummaryThe Transportation, Storage, and Distribution Manager is required to coordinate, store, distribute supplies/goods to the appropriate government entities without any guidance. This position is required to oversee the transportation, storage, and distribution team, and operate in accordance with the Rapid Operations Material Management Contract.*Please Note: This position is contingent upon a contract award. We will not be actively responding to applicants until there is a need to move forward with this position.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerforms tasks with no guidance.Plans, directs, and coordinates transportation, shipping costs, storage, and distribution activities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable Government laws or regulations.Coordinates and expedites flow of material and equipment for both shipping and receiving efforts.Supervises the activities of workers engaged in receiving, storing, inventory, packaging, and shipping products and materials.Responsible for warehouse safety and security programs and activities.Inspects physical conditions of warehouses, vehicle fleet, or equipment and order maintenance, repairs, or replacements.Provides guidance in handling of unusual and non-routine problems.

SupervisionResponsible for the supervision, direction, and performance of a team of up to 30 personnel.

Minimum QualificationsMaster's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or technical equivalent.Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Technical equivalent and four years of additional work experience in lieu of a Master's Degree

Minimum of Ten (10) years of experience with at least five (5) years of experience must be in supply chain management.Ability to obtain and maintain HAZMAT CertificationAbility to obtain a DPAS Train the Trainer CertificationForklift Operator CertificateForklift Train the Trainer CertificationAbility to complete DPAS Warehouse Management Training ModuleStrong analytical and problem solving skillsFamiliarity of standards in logistics and warehouse operationsWorking knowledge of Microsoft office products to include Microsoft Office, Excel and Power Point.Must have valid Driver's license, insurance and maintain military base driving privileges. Obtain military licenses/certification if required.Familiar with current military regulations, policies and standards.Possesses the ability to work multiple projects /tasks; interface with Government, and US military personnel.Excellent communication skills.Must be a U.S. citizenMust be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance

Preferred QualificationsExperience and knowledge of Alaska Native cultures

The work environment can vary from office/warehouse environment to field work outdoors depending on the mission and support required.
