The Royal Caribbean Group's Treasury Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Manager, Treasury Operations and Derivatives reporting to the Sr. Director, Financial Risk Management and Treasury Operations.
This position will work on-site in Miami, Florida
Position Summary:
The Manager, Treasury Operations and Derivatives oversees short term liquidity forecasting and management, as well as balance sheet exposure and quarterly derivatives disclosures. The position is also responsible for SOX Controls rationalization and Treasury policies and procedures updates, as well as other global cash management responsibilities. The position interacts with internal departments such as Accounting, Corporate Planning, Global Marine Operations and Audit and will manage three team members. This position will manage the Lead, Treasury Operations and Lead, Financial Risk Management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversees short-term liquidity forecasting.Oversees daily liquidity management including drawing/repaying the revolving credit facilities and short-term investment of funds.Oversees monthly interest income and bank fee analysis forecasts.Oversees collection, processing, and reporting of balance sheet foreign exchange exposure.Manages balance sheet hedging trade execution and monthly settlements.Acts as the liaison with accounting for balance sheet exposure and derivatives.Drafts presentations for the Hedge Committee, Hedge Advisory Committee, and others.Oversees monthly and quarterly derivatives disclosure reports for 10Q, 10K, and investor's calls.Prepares quarterly ESPP calculations and communication with HR and external agents.Responsible for review and proposing changes to SOX controls applicable to Treasury Operations and Financial Risk Management.Leads project to generate new or update Treasury policies and procedures.Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
5 - 10 years of treasury experience.Accounting, Finance, or related undergraduate degree required.MBA, CFA, CPA, or CTP credentials are very helpful.Experience with global companies and exposure to multi-asset exposure classes.Exceptional understanding of accounting.Exceptional Excel, Database, ERP, and presentation skills.Excellent understanding of derivatives.Highly effective in both verbal and written communication skills.Strong Treasury systems knowledge including FIS Integrity.Strong Bloomberg abilities.Ability to operate in uncertain and fast-paced work environment.Must be forward-thinking.Physical Demands:
