Registered Nurse - PACU @ Providence Mount Carmel Hospital

Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:00) Guaranteed Hours: Experience: Minimum experience required; references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years are essential. License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required Must-Have: COVID-19 Vaccine - Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed Job Description: - Position does not float between units.- On-call required: 1 weekday night (1730-0700) and one weekend every 6th weekend (from Friday 1730 to Monday 0700).- On-call duty pertains only to recovering urgent/emergent surgical cases.- Block schedules are required.- Nurse-to-patient ratio expected: 1:1.- Located in a critical access facility with no trauma and 25 total staffed beds.- Facility is a teaching hospital.- Charting done using Epic system.- Orientation comprises 40 non-billable hours.- Modules are non-billable, with an average of 16 hours to be completed pre-start and annually.- 48 working hours a week are not approved.- Submissions require documentation to be completed by Monday prior to start date.
