Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: CVOR Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:00) Guaranteed Hours: 70 hours per 2 weeks Experience: Minimum 2 years of CVOR Experience License: Pending License Accepted (prefer license in hand, as AK RN license can take 6-8 weeks) Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: CVOR Experience Job Description: - Seeking a CVOR Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field.- Candidate must be open to being on-call, typically around 7-8 call days per month, including 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month (Friday 1800-Monday 0730).- First-time applicants are welcome.- The position is not open to local candidates; applicants must reside at least 50 miles from the facility.- The candidate must be flexible with working 2 out of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year).- The clinician will not be required to float within the facility to meet needs or to affiliate hospitals nearby.- Block scheduling is open for accommodation.- Candidates should have specific charting experience with Epic.- Orientation will consist of 40 non-billable hours.- Candidates are responsible for exploring housing options in the area, as options may be limited.- COVID-19 vaccination is required, although medical/religious exemptions and declinations are allowed.- There are restrictions on the usage of the Hepatitis B vaccine, as the facility will not accept titers or declination.- Candidates must possess a valid state license; a pending license is acceptable. - Floating between facilities within the state may be required.- Holiday Rotations: Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year).
