Audit Manager
ResponsibilitiesPlan, supervise, and complete engagements of increasing difficulty and complexity, including reviewing engagement work papers, resolving problems, and keeping the director informed of all important developmentsPerform and review financial reporting requirements, including compilation, review and audits from planning to issuanceSupervise Associates, Senior Associates, Supervisors and provide feedback to them and evaluate their career developmentBecome an expert in their assigned areas and specialtiesRecognize opportunities to provide additional services to existing clientsManage and oversee the Assurance Services Department's daily operationsDevelop and implement departmental policies and proceduresCollaborate with other departments to manage multiple client engagements concurrently and ensure seamless service deliveryRequirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's Degree preferredCPA or EA required4+ years of experience in public accountingEfficiency in Microsoft Suite products and software including QuickBooks or SageSkilled communicator, both verbally and writtenAbility to take and pass a background checkWork flexible hours as needed
