The Interventional Pulmonology program is a multi-disciplinary program which includes advanced diagnostic and interventional bronchoscopy. In addition to the IP assignments, a proportion of the time would be spent providing care in the medical ICU and pulmonary consultation service. Further, the Division clinical faculty have opportunities to train fellows, residents and medical students and pursue clinical research. Specifically, the Interventional Pulmonology program collaborates closely with Markey Cancer Center with its multi-disciplinary outpatient clinics. Salary and academic rank are commensurate with experience.The University of Kentucky Medical Center is a premier research institution in the Commonwealth serving a wide geographic area, treating patients throughout Kentucky, Tennessee, West Virginia, and beyond, providing the opportunity for large practice growth.
