Job Description:
Work Schedule: Full Time, 545-1615, Wed-FriOn Call RequirementsResponsibilities:The Registered Nurse will provide perioperative patient care.Reviewing the patient chart by becoming familiar with orders including but not limited to lab orders and results, radiology orders and results, H & P's and updates, consentsExplaining procedures/treatment/discharge to patient and family members to alley apprehension and to verify understanding of procedure/discharge.Documenting patient assessment in the electronic patient record, and nursing care plan.Administering prescribed medications.Preparing Pre-OP/PACU - I and II for needed supplies and equipmentMaintaining awareness of patient's safety needs at all timesAssisting with patient's transfer of care from the ORRequirements:Basic Life SupportRegistered NurseAdvanced Cardiac Life SupportBachelor's degree in Nursing.State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).Minimum Experience: 2 years of Pre-Op/PACU experience
