Provide specialized gastroenterological care to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including endoscopies and colonoscopies.Manage patients with a variety of gastrointestinal disorders, ensuring comprehensive treatment plans.Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.Participate in on-call duties, covering emergencies and urgent cases.
Schedule and CoverageShift Details :
Call-only coverage, with no routine outpatient clinic hours required.Must be available for holiday coverage: New Year's Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.Expected patient volume: 11-13 patients per shift.Bed capacity in the department: 175 beds.Rounding on assigned patients is required.

Must hold an active Pennsylvania medical license.Board Certified in Internal Medicine with a specialty in Gastroenterology.Fellowship training in Gastroenterology is preferred.Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
