The Ambulatory Oncology/Infusion Pharmacist acts asthe medication management expert by providing accurate drug information toproviders, nurses, and other clinical staff. In additional to verifying ordersand making clinical interventions, the individual will also oversee compoundingin alignment with USP, Board of Pharmacy, and other regulations, ensuremedications are received, stored, labelled, transported, and wastedappropriately and collaborate with members of multidisciplinary health careteam to optimize patient's medication therapy.Schedule:Variedshifts, depending on department needs, including weekends and holidaysHourlySalary Range: $85.87 - $100.58 (Union represented, step based salary dependingon years of experience)BargainingUnit: HX-UPTEQualifications
We areseeking an exceptionally-skilled and compassionate pharmacist with thefollowing qualifications:Doctor of Pharmacy DegreeCalifornia PharmacylicenseASHP-accredited PGY2 oncologyresidency or at least 1 year of pharmacy practice experience in oncologyBoard Certification in Oncology(BCOP) preferredPrevious infusion pharmacyexperience preferredEPIC/Beacon experiencepreferredExceptional communication,interpersonal, organizational and follow-through skillsKnowledge of and ability toperform age specific and disease specific pharmacokinetic calculations
