Statement of Purpose: The Director, Total Rewards provides vision, leadership, planning, project oversight, and financial management of CAN's Total Rewards functions. This position is accountable for ensuring continuity and successful delivery of all areas of Total Rewards throughout the CAN organization and its affiliates. Areas of responsibility include compensation and benefits plans (including Retirement plans) design and administration. The Director ensures that all programs and services address key priorities of CAN, and are externally competitive, accessible and understandable, cost effective and fully compliant with state and federal regulations as directed by the DOL, EEOC, OSHA, the appropriate state including but not limited to FL, TX, AZ, NV, SC, VA and relevant regulatory agencies. The Director will advise leadership and make recommendations to ensure that CAN maintains a competitive "people'' edge that aligns with the strategic direction of the organization.

Develops and implements comprehensive compensation and total rewards strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives, ensuring competitive and equitable pay structures and benefit plans for all levels of the organization that are externally competitive, incentivize performance, and are managed within approved cost parameters.Implements and oversees remuneration plans: oversees the analysis and benchmarking of compensation and total rewards data against market standards to maintain competitiveness and compliance with regulations.Directs and oversees the organization's large scale annual compensation and benefit processes that occur throughout the year such as open enrollment, annual performance evaluations, merit and incentive awards, market review, etc., to ensure the processes are efficient, financially sound, and promote team member engagement and retention.Ensures that rewards support talent attraction, retention, and performance.Determines short and long term strategies that manage escalating year-over-year compensation and benefit costs. Determines, recommends and administers alternative approaches and solutions for helping executives manage the risk associated with workforce or employment-related issues/challenges. Ensures that total rewards and operations practices and reporting activities align with diversity, equity, and inclusion philosophy and strategy.Develops and executes a comprehensive communication strategy for compensation and benefit programs and identifies opportunities to better enable the company to improve employee engagement, facilitate proactive and effective messaging and cadence as well as support the organization's growth and strategic plan.Advises HR partners, senior management, and leadership on compensation-related issues and Total Rewards trends: recommends policies that support decision-making and strategic planning.Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and departmental leaders to create and revise job descriptions, ensuring they accurately reflect roles, responsibilities, and qualifications for proper compensation alignment.Partners with outside benefit brokers in benefit design, healthcare options, and negotiation of contracts to ensure positioning of the organization as an Employer of Choice.Direct the preparation and distribution of detailed compensation and total rewards reports and presentations for executive leadership and the board of directors, highlighting trends, analyses, and recommendations.Builds relationships with key organizations, bodies, and institutes.Promotes and practices CAN Community Health Inc's mission and values and follows its policies and procedures.Ensures confidentiality is maintained by entire team regarding patient/client information in accordance with HIPAA, professional and departmental standards.Competencies: Director of Total Rewards

Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field required, Master's Degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, including 5 years in a management role. Experience in compensation planning, research, policy development and program design to include health and welfare benefits, retirement plans, and base and incentive pay.
