Position Summary :
Performs Diagnostic Vascular Procedures as ordered by physicians and associated duties to maintain high quality standards and an efficient department.
Performs duties in support of the Medical Center mission to ensure the highest quality of patient care in an economically sound and efficient manner.
Produces quality sonograms and/or tracings according to department routine procedure protocols, utilizing proper technique and positioning, as reviewed by vascular surgeon or radiologist.This position serves adults through geriatrics.
Education and Training:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Completion of an accredited Ultrasound or Vascular Program recognized by the ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) or CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) preferred.
Certified by the ARDMS or CCI in Vascular Technology
Experience:
2 years Vascular Technologist experience required.
Skills:
Operate computer and patient imaging equipment.
Registration, Licensure and/or Certifications:
CPR.
