OVERVIEW:The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for the overall financial strategy and financial performance of the company and serves as a critical partner to the CEO to plan and execute the company's growth plans. This role will serve on the executive leadership team and requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the manufacturing industry, strong financial acumen, and the ability to drive operational efficiency. The CFO will partner closely with the executive leadership team to achieve company objectives while ensuring financial stability and growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead and manage the finance team (including accounting and payroll), providing guidance, support, and coachingLead financial planning and analysis for the organization, including forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow managementDevelop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with the company's business objectives, including growth plans, treasury, pricing, and inventory management.Develop a deep understanding of the company's business operations, identifying opportunities for financial improvement and providing strategic financial guidance.Develop and maintain strong relationships with banks, investors, and other financial institutions.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and forecastsDevelop strategies to increase return on investment and profitabilityEnsure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirementsCollaborate with the executive leadership team to create budgets and track key performance indicatorsDrive financial performance through effective budgeting, cost control measures, and resource allocationEstablish clear operational targets, KPIs and performance benchmarks for measuring progressPromote a culture of innovation, quality, continuous improvement, and safetyPerform other duties as assignedWORK ENVIRONMENT:The CFO spends most of their time in an office environment. The office is an open and collaborative space where work is performed both independently and with the team to ensure that internal and external stakeholder requests are met.
REPORTING STRUCTURE:This is an exempt position that reports to the President and CEO.
CAREER ADVANCEMENT:Career advancement at Construction Innovations is possible for all positions, though not guaranteed. Advancement opportunities may exist within the current department or in other departments within the company.
LOCATION:Construction Innovations' facilities and offices are located in Sacramento, CA, and Mather, CA.
COMPENSATION:A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $250,000.00+. The actual amount offered within this range will depend on a variety of factors including geography, skills and abilities, education, experience, and other relevant job-related factors. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required; advanced degree preferredCPA or other relevant certifications are highly desirableMinimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of manufacturing operations, cost accounting, and inventory managementProven track record of financial performance improvement and cost reductionKnow and adhere to generally accepted accounting principles and applicable corporate finance lawsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong leadership and communication skillsCreative thinker with good business judgmentKnowledge of electrical systems and their components is a plusProficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, Power BI, ERP systemsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to convey detailed and accurate instructions and information verballyAbility to hear with or without correction for receiving and interpreting detailed informationAbility to sit at a desk workstation for varying periodsCapability to push, pull, lift, reach, and carry at least 10 pounds, occasionally lifting/moving up to 35 lbs. with or without assistanceOccasional walking and standingVisual acuity with or without correction for reading documentation, analyzing data, and using electronic devicesUse of fingers and hands for operating a computer or other electronic devicesOccasional stooping, kneeling, and crouching may be required.
