What you will do:

Develop strategic marketing plan to drive automation strategy, including market segmentation business case analysis, functional requirements, positioning, pricing strategies, and sustainable support plans for new automation and software products.

Own revenue target for Software and Automation solutions and will participate in M&A activities.

Be a subject matter expert for automation and software within marking and coding industry to identify disruptive technology and business opportunities.

Interface with design, support, commercial teams along with customers to translate market and customer needs into innovative automation solution sets.

Promote the automation and software portfolio with frequent communication with the Sales force. Includes managing early market sales funnel and process transition to commercial teams.

Perform Business Development activities in support of present and future customers and undeserved markets.

Manage market trends, segment analysis to Voice of Customer interviews to needs requirements definition and concept development for automation and software solutions.

What you need to have:

Minimum of 5+ years business development experience in a B2B company. Bachelor’s degree preferably in Marketing, Business Administration, or a technical field. MBA or equivalent industry experience will be an advantage.

Track record of developing and launching new products as well as supporting existing products. Ability to think strategically about customer needs and business issues and how they translate into our products. “Crossing the Chasm” strategic market planning a plus.

Ability to work in a matrix organization and collaborate across functions.

Excellent communication skills with stakeholders across levels

The position involves approximately 25% travel and includes domestic and international travel.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $90,000 - $114,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.

We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
