SummaryThis position is responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of assigned oil and gas processing equipment, including the identification of problems or potential problems, documentation and production reporting.
ResponsibilitiesIntermediate level operator positionFollow safe operating practices and ensure compliance with Company Environment, Safety & Regulatory requirements. Including participation in Safety Meetings and complies with Near Miss Reporting, JSA reviews, Stop Work Authority, LOTO and SOP procedures.Monitors all oil and gas production equipment, including SCADA, separators, flow lines, engines, compressors, tanks, ECDs, etc.Perform intermediate level lease operating skills which will include but are not limited to: SCADA systems, tank gauging, proper operation of three phase gas separators, heater treaters, line heaters, Pumping Units, Plunger Lift, Gas Lift systems and all VRUs, VRTs, VRLs and seal records.Prepares oil tanks for sale of product, contacts dispatch on both oil and water loads to ensure produced fluids are taken from the lease sites in a timely manner.Monitors assigned wells to ensure production is optimizedDaily operations checks of wells and production facilities to gather data, conduct maintenance and ensure housekeeping meets expectationsEvaluates and reads gas meters, tank gauges, as well as converts measurements in order to ensure accurate and efficient documentation of lease operationsOperates a company vehicle safely, adheres to all driving laws and company vehicle use policiesSynchronize production data daily to provide timely production data to all users.Conducts inspections as required to ensure compliance with CHPHE, EPA, State of Colorado, COGCC and Company requirementsParticipates in route reviews to share knowledge of wells and facilities with Foreman, Production Engineering, Facility Engineering and other operational teams.Builds positive public image through daily land owner interaction.Prepares oil tanks for sale of product, contacts dispatch on both oil and water loads to ensure produced fluids are taken from the lease sites in a safe, timely manner.Perform more complex maintenance and troubleshooting, replace, and/or repairWork in all weather conditions including rain, snow, mud, etc. - work is performed in hazardous driving and working conditions all season of the yearPerform all other duties as assignedOther Responsibilities
