Responsibilities, but not limited to:
Strategic HR Leadership:
Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives for the CA, HI, and AZ regions.Collaborate with regional leadership to provide HR guidance and support on organizational development, workforce planning, and succession planning.Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and talent development.HR Operations:
Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, performancemanagement and compensation.Ensure consistent application of HR policies and practices across the regions.Manage the regional HR budget and report on key HR metrics.Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local employment laws, including California's complex labor laws.Develop and maintain policies and procedures that are compliant with CA, HI, and AZ regulations.Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate HR-related risks.Talent Management:
Lead recruitment efforts for key regional positions, ensuring a diverse pipeline of talent.Drive initiatives to improve diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) across the regions.Employee Relations:
Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on HR-related matters.Lead investigations into employee concerns, grievances, and workplace incidents.Foster a positive workplace culture that aligns with the company's values and promotes employee well-being.Regional HR Team Leadership:
Develop, manage and mentor a team of HR professionals in the region.Provide coaching and development opportunities to ensure the team's success.Collaborate with the broader HR team to share best practices and drive consistency.Qualifications/Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a senior HR role managing multi-state regions.Strong knowledge of California labor laws and regulations, with experience handling complex compliance issues.Proven experience in talent management, employee relations, and organizational development.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.Ability to travel up to 25% of the time within the assigned regions.Business proficiency in English and Korean is required.
