$55,000 annualized

Lead the development, implementation and maintenance of the Safe Quality (SQF) programGuide the facility through the SQF certification processDevelop, implement and manage comprehensive food safety plans and HACCP systemsEnsure compliance with all federal, state and local food safety regulationsConduct food safety training for all employees, ensuring understanding and compliance with SQF, HACCP, PCQI, FSMA and other regulatory requirementsStay current with industry best practices, regulatory changes and advancements in food safety to implement updates as necessaryPerform other duties as assigned by supervisorThis job description is only a summary of the typical functions of the job, not an exhaustive or comprehensive list of all possible responsibilities, tasks, and duties
Skills you'll bring along
SQF, HACCP, PCQI and FSMA certifications preferredIn-depth knowledge of SQF, HACCP, PCQI, FSMA and other food safety standardsStrong organization, communication and leadership skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant softwareBachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology or a related field OR a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in food safety and quality managementJob Type
