The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry is seeking a board-certified psychiatrist to join its University Mental Health Practice (UMHP) at Sully's Trail in Pittsford, NY. UMHP is a faculty practice that includes psychologists and psychiatrists who are a part of the Division of Collaborative Care & Wellness in the Department of Psychiatry. The role of the psychiatrist is to provide initial diagnostic evaluations of patients presenting with various psychiatric concerns and to develop a plan of care including medication management and psychotherapeutic interventions as clinically indicated. This is a time-as-reported (TAR) postition and the successful candidate would need to qualify for both a faculty appointment in the Department of Psychiatry and a medical staff appointment. We anticipate the need to be approximately 8 hours a week.
Qualifications
NYS License as a psychiatrist prior to start

Individual salaries will be determined within the job's salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries.
