Our client, a rapidly growing Irvine-based third-party property management firm specializing in multifamily assets, is seeking an experienced Vice President of Accounting (VP). As VP, you will lead the accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and safeguarding assets. Key responsibilities include overseeing month-end closings, budgeting, streamlining accounting processes, and ensuring compliance with audits and industry standards. This leadership role also involves managing a team of property accountants and enhancing the company's financial reporting systems.

Key Responsibilities:• Manage timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.• Oversee owner reporting packages, mortgage, and tax documents.• Improve financial reporting infrastructure and internal controls.• Direct audits, cash flow analysis, and management fee distributions.• Provide financial reports to executives and the Board.• Lead and develop the accounting team.• Enhance productivity and financial accountability. Qualifications:• Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance (Master's preferred)• CPA preferred• 10+ years of accounting experience (5+ in property/real estate accounting)• Leadership experience• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and ERP systems

Salary Range: $165K-$175K plus bonus DOE
