Job Title: ControllerLocation: Circleville, OHSalary Range: $90,000 - $140,000
Our client is a leading organization in the services related to construction, maintenance, and operations of their customers gas, telecom, and water facilities. They are looking for a Controller to add to their Accounting team.
Responsibilities:Maintains and develops system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of accounting controls designed to mitigate risk and enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial resultsManages and forecasts cash flow, based on upcoming projects, expenditures, investments, and tax liabilities'Conducts monthly financial project review meetings with respective project management team's and reviews yearly audit and preparation of tax returns by external CPA'sAnalyzes and manages the process for work in progress (WIP) reporting and closing processResponsible for oversight of the full cycle accounts receivable and accounts payable process as well as assists in the completion of billing with the project management teamsPerforms margin analysis on projects for improved cost management and increased profitsCreates and analyzes financial reports and ad hoc reporting as requiredServes as the management liaison between the project accounting team and the project management team and other internal teams to ensure the timely delivery of accounting reports and proper communicationAny other financial tasks required by Senior Management or ownershipInterface with Board of Managers, Lenders, and Stakeholders accordinglyAdditional duties as assigned.Ability to lead and motivate a high performing management team.QualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting, CPA preferred5+ years of construction accounting experience3+ years of experience managing a team of 2 or more individualsProficient in a construction ERP software
