Description

The University of Rochester, (URMC) is seeking candidates for a full-time faculty position (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) in Nuclear Medicine. The responsibilities of this position include a combination of diagnostic and therapeutic practice, including administration of a variety of therapeutic agents both for clinical and research purposes, including but not limited to Ra-223, Lu-177, and I-131, as well as interpreting state-of-the art diagnostic imaging examinations, such as SPECT/CT and PET/CT. The candidate will have the opportunity to be a collaborative partner in the growth of imaging services at URMC, as well as the ability to participate in the education of residents and medical students, research and scholarly activities.

The Department of Imaging Sciences at the University of Rochester is a practice of approximately 95 radiologists and 50-55 residents and fellows. Technical highlights include state of the art information technology, a clinical PET/MRI, Spect CT with many gamma cameras, access to a cyclotron/radiochemist, and soon to be 3 PET/CTs. The PACS system is integrated into a comprehensive electronic clinical information system. Annual study volumes are approaching 1,000,000 across our imaging locations throughout the region. The referenced pay range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the base range of compensation for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be detemined within the job's salary range and established base on (but not limited to) market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries. Alignment of clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
