Join us at Andersen, and together, let's write the story of your success!The Role:The National Learning & Development team delivers business-centric learning and development programs and experiences designed to help our professionals provide best-in-class service to our clients, at every stage of their careers.We are looking for an experienced manager to join our team, who is seeking to utilize their technical knowledge to provide learning solutions that align with the business priorities of specific service lines of the firm, either Commercial and State and Local Tax, or Alternative Investment Funds and Valuation. This individual will collaborate with firm management, subject matter experts, training committees, and the Learning & Development team, to identify learning needs and develop curricula for the firm's employees across all levels, and U.S. locations, for designated service lines.As a Manager, you will align learning solutions with the business priorities of specific tax and related service lines, consistent with your technical background. Reporting to the National Learning & Development Managing Director, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Collaborating with service line leaders, professionals, and other stakeholders to identify strategic learning goalsDeveloping curricula that maps competencies to learning needsIdentifying, assessing, and curating learning resources, including buy, build, blend decisions and coordination with vendorsFacilitating working group discussions for input on learning needs and feedback on learning solutionsLeading project teams, which may include instructional designers, subject matter experts, and vendors, to ensure the effective development and delivery of programs, pilots, strategies, and processesCoordinating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to integrate learning solutions across firm initiativesEnsuring compliance with NASBA and Andersen policies and guidelines related to Continuing Professional Education and quality requirementsBuilding, managing, and leveraging positive, collaborative partnerships among business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and peersProviding functional expertise to identify, research, and solve complex problemsCompensation and BenefitsOur firm offers competitive base compensation, benefits package, and a discretionary employee bonus program for eligible employees based on individual and firm performance metrics per the defined program guidelines. For individuals hired to work in San Francisco, Foster City, or San Jose, the expected salary range for this role is $122,200 to $180,700; the actual salary offer can vary based upon employee qualifications.Benefits: Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our firms 401(k) plan upon hire. We offer paid time off, beginning at 160 hours annually and provides twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year. For a full listing of benefit offerings, please visit https://www.andersen.com/careers/faqs.Compensation: In addition to competitive base compensation, our firm offers annual discretionary bonuses based on firm and individual performance, a discretionary long-term cash incentive program, and other forms of discretionary compensation that would be offered to the hired applicant in addition to their established salary range scale.The Requirements:Bachelor's degree in tax, accounting, finance, or related areasAt least 6 years of professional experienceTax background, e.g., previous tax or accounting client service experience at a professional service firm, law firm, or undergraduate or graduate teaching experienceDemonstrated end-to-end project management experience: conception and initiation, planning, execution, performance/monitoring, and project closeDemonstrated consultative approach: excellent communication and influencing skills to communicate effectively and credibly, both verbally and in writing, with audiences at all management levelsHighly creative thinker with demonstrated ability to think outside the box and contribute innovative ideas, approaches, and solutionsStrong relationship building and stakeholder management skills, including with senior leadersAbility to work autonomously and effectively in a fast-paced, complex, multi-tasking virtual environmentStrong command of Microsoft Office skills and ability to produce deliverables of a high quality and level of consistencyAbility to travel occasionally, to meet with the team, stakeholders, and/or assess deployment of learning initiativesApplicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire.
