Job Description
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of QA systems to ensure product quality and safety in compliance with FDA, GMP, HACCP, and other relevant regulatory standards.Manage quality control testing procedures for raw materials, in-process products, and finished powdered mixes to ensure compliance with specifications.Lead R&D efforts for the development of new powdered mix products, including recipe formulation, testing, and scaling up for production.Collaborate with production teams to optimize manufacturing processes, improve product stability, and enhance product quality.Monitor industry trends and consumer demands to inform product innovation and ensure market relevance.Train staff on quality control protocols, food safety, and good manufacturing practices (GMPs).Work with suppliers to ensure raw materials meet required quality standards through audits, evaluations, and performance reviews.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field (Master's preferred).7+ years of experience in QA and R&D roles, with at least 3 years in a management position within the food or powdered mixes industry.In-depth knowledge of powdered formulations, food safety regulations, and quality assurance systems.Strong leadership and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Experience with FDA, HACCP, and GMP compliance.Strong communication and problem-solving skillWhat's on Offer
