Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Newborn Care Job Specialty: Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Newborn Care Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 Hours Day/Evening/Night Rotation Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: Active RN License Certifications: - BLS- NRP- EFM (renew every 2 years)- ACLS (preferred) Must-Have: Experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Circulate, and Newborn Care Job Description: - Work in a 25-bed unit that includes Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Newborn Nursery, 2 Operating Rooms, 2 Antepartum Units, and Recovery Rooms.- Provide care with clinician-to-patient ratios of 1:2-3 during evaluations and 1:1 during active labor (including magnesium therapy or epidural).- Manage care in a postpartum setting with a clinician-to-patient ratio of 1:3-4.- Adapt to serve a diverse patient population.- Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records.- Participate in a rotating schedule with day shifts and one night on-call.- Certified in BLS, NRP, and EFM is required, with ACLS preferred.- No floating required.Applicants should demonstrate proficiency in the specified skill sets and be ready to attend a comprehensive orientation program.
