About the Role:
The Director, Finance will be responsible for managing all aspects of finance for the business segment including budgeting, planning, reporting, and accounting. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute extensively in a growing company as well as serve on the leadership team of a key business segment with aggressive growth plans.
Your
Responsibilities:Partners closely with the Vice President of Transportation Solutions to drive long-term strategic planning, consistent revenue growth and world class financial managementDevelops business relationships with key leaders in operations, engineering, HR, and IT to facilitate strategic growthLeads and develops a team of finance professionals while continuously striving for higher levels of performanceLeads financial processes including monthly close, budgeting, forecasting and internal controlAnalyzes current and past trends for key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expendituresMonitors KPIs highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variancesProvides quarterly and monthly financial reports and ad-hoc reporting and analysisImplements and improves existing business intelligence tools and dashboard reportsProvides strong leadership regarding financial modeling, planning and analysis to support strategic initiativesAnalyzes complex financial information to provide accurate financial recommendationsEngages and partners with the business by delivering insightful analysis on key focus areasCommunicates key business issues and opportunities in a clear, concise and actionable mannerBuilds and develops business presentations for senior managementProvides consistent, timely and relevant information to key company stakeholders including the CEO and CFOPartners with segment and corporate management on expansion plans by providing financial leadership and insightOther duties as assignedLet's Talk About Your Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree8+ years' experience in Financial ManagementKnowledge of corporate financeSolid understanding of corporate financials, public company accounting (GAAP &SOX) and regulatory issuesGood verbal and written communication skillsAbility to analyze dataExperience in Manufacturing Industry preferredManagement experience requiredLeadership Attributes:
