GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

United Digestives Operations Project Manager assists the Director of Operations Administration to facilitate smooth and efficient projects with a focus on communication and project execution. The project manager leads cross functional, organization wide projects that impact the core of our business. This position plays a critical role in managing projects for new locations, new physicians, new practice initiatives, and driving Lean continuous improvement activities at United Digestive.

REPORTS TO :Senior Manager of Program Management

RESPONSIBILITIES:Duties may include but are not limited to:Creates and executes project work plans; manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project, including development of the project plan, follow up with the project team, creation of necessary process and training documents; revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements etc.Leads interdepartmental teams to complete an assigned project on time, within budget, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.Outlines the tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly.Conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project.Prepares and implements a budget based on estimates.Conducts risk assessments; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk (including termination of the project if appropriate).Ensures the provision of high-quality patient care and customer service within the company through the design and implementation of processes/procedures.Maintains knowledge of and complies with policies and procedures including government, insurance, and third-party payer regulations.Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.Seeks out opportunities for new projects and collaborates with department leaders to initiate projects.Leads Lean continuous improvement activities.Assists with due diligence process for potential M&A activity.Assists with management of various vendors.Maintains a high-level of confidentiality with sensitive information.Performs any other duties and/or special tasks as assigned.REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:Bachelors degree Business Administration or in a related field required; three to five years of project management, staff management, and adhering to department budgets; healthcare-related field experience preferred; must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; Lean Six Sigma and PMP or comparable project management certification is a plus.
