Position Summary

Abdominal Radiologist

The Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at the Indiana University School of Medicine is seeking an Abdominal Radiologist for our Indianapolis-based academic radiology practice. The IU School of Medicine is in direct partnership with Indiana University Health (IUH), Indiana's most comprehensive healthcare system.

The position will be full time, primarily based at the Academic Health Center. This is a clinical track position. Expertise in the full range of diagnostic abdominal imaging is desired.

There is an opportunity to work remotely ~1 day per week. There are no evening or overnight hours. There is potential to consider nontraditional work models in the future which can result in increased number of weeks off.

The candidate would have the opportunity to work with residents, fellows, and medical students in one of the largest medical schools and radiology residency programs in the U.S.

There is extensive opportunity for research collaboration with renowned oncologists, surgeons, and gastroenterologists. There is considerable opportunity for dedicated time to focus on academic and research efforts, with administrative and logistical support provided.

Salary and benefits are competitive. Minimum requirements include MD, eligible for licensure in Indiana, ABR certified or in process, and fellowship in Abdominal Radiology or Body MRI.

Basic Qualifications

Doctorate or Terminal degree is required, eligible for licensure in Indiana, and radiology board certified or eligible. Minimum requirements include MD, ABR certified or in process, and fellowship in Abdominal Radiology or Body MRI.
