AB Staffing is looking for an experienced
Speech Language Pathologist
that is available for the 2024/2025 school year.
Requirements:
Master's degree in Communication Disorders, Speech, or Speech Audiology. Must possess or be eligible for a Speech Language Pathologist License in the State of Minnesota. Hold, or be able to obtain, ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Positive, energetic, and compassionate approach to education. Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting required. Job Description:
Setting: Elementary grade levels Contract through the 2024/2025 school year - 37.5 to 40 hours per week Contract follows the academic district calendar Position Overview:
Provide speech and language therapy services to help students improve communication and learning skills.
Essential Functions:
Identify students needing specialized speech or language services and provide tailored solutions for academic success. Conduct individual and group therapy using curriculum-based materials and provide progress reports. Supervise support staff, consult with educators, and provide alternative communication systems. Create engaging learning environments and promote social, physical, and intellectual growth. Explore individual learning needs, develop personalized solutions, and implement curriculum goals. Model mature behavior, uphold values, and encourage character development. Salary:
