Overview: Shoals Technologies Group, Inc. is currently looking for a Compensation & Benefits Specialist. The Compensation & Benefits Specialist is responsible for assisting with the administration of all benefits, leave and retirement programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, and 401(k) plan. Responsibilities: Ensures the accuracy of all benefits enrollments in the benefit platform. Performs quality checks and audits of benefits-related data. Assists employees regarding benefits claim issues and plan changes. Responds to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries. Responds to 401(k) inquiries from managers and employees relating to enrollments, plan changes and contribution amounts. Assists with new-hire orientations. Assists with the open enrollment process. Provides necessary reports for allocation/billing charges. Responsible for maintaining the benefit purchase requisitions and processing benefit invoices. Ensures payroll deductions are accurate and updated for each pay cycle. Administers and assists in wellness, service recognition and other benefit related programs. Administers and assist as a back-up to leave programs. Administers and assist as back-up for financial benefits monthly financial accruals. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field of study 5+ years’ experience in HR and/or benefits administration. Extensive knowledge of employee benefits and applicable laws. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Has the ability to work independently as well as a cooperative team member.
