The
Food and Beverage Manager
(age 18+) is responsible for the daily operations of all on-site dining options at a Northgate Resorts' award winning Camp Fimfo Texas Hill Country resort, ensuring a lasting and delicious experience for all of our guests. Duties include managing team members to ensure spectacular customer service, handling payments, observing budgets, and assessing all on-site dining outlets' performance. This management position reports to the Assistant General Manager.

This function requires managerial specializations that focus on hiring and developing employees to become more valuable. Our associates must be equipped to perform every task and be ready for any guest interaction to maintain superior industry standards. Skills expected include leadership, patience to teach and coach, and energy to approach employees with concerns in a productive manner. Offers outstanding leadership to a full food and beverage team; Hires, trains, and schedules food and beverage staff members to ensure labor budgets are met; Assures those standard operating procedures are adhered to; Monitors and maintains compliance with food safety and sanitation standards; Monitors cash drawers and ensure cash handling procedures are followed; Ensures outlets are in tip-top shape for guests of the camp-resort (upkeep and cleanliness of all food and beverage equipment and facilities); Revenue Management
When performing this duty, one will employ disciplined analytics to help predict guest behaviors at a micro-market level. The employee will use this information to optimize product availability, quality, and price to maximize revenue growth. Assists with developing an operating budget for each department revenue outlet; Monitors and takes action to help achieve sales and cost goals; Monitors purchasing to ensure proper quantity and quality for items; Assures the best quality food, beverage, and customer service is offered; Maintains the inventory of food and supplies; Other Essential Duties
Completes required reports on a timely basis; Collaborates with camp-resort team and home office departments; Coordinates and oversees various projects from start to finish; Responds to guest inquiries using the company's service recovery guidelines; Utilizes and learns the reservation system for daily planning; and, Participates in other projects and activities as assigned. EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 5 years' experience in large resort, food and beverage (Bar) management or equivalent; with multiple outlets Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Business Administration or equivalent, preferred; State required certifications or ability to obtain upon hire; Responsible Management of Alcohol certificate or ability to obtain upon hire required Manager level ServSafe certification TABC Certification or ability to become certified QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Strong attention to detail, speed, and accuracy Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment A strong work ethic and a positive attitude Required to work nights, weekends, and holidays Work with minimal supervision Food photography skills are a bonus! Maintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, coworkers, and management ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Push, pull or lift up to 50 lbs Must be able to remain in a stationary position, occasionally in warm temperatures Occasional exposure to hot equipment and oil throughout the workday Continuously climb, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and crawl Able to manipulate fingers, hands, and arms to reach, carry, serve, etc.

Pay Range:
$45,000 - $60,000 per year
