The purpose of the Food and Beverage Team is to enhance CCV's ability to be a destination point for the unchurched, promote fellowship for attendees, and to support the staff in growing their ministries in the aspects of making people feel comfortable while on our campus.

A Food and Beverage Team Associate will facilitate the function of the overall mission of CCV within the Guest Services Department of CCV including holidays, weekdays, and weekends.

Job Description

Essential Job FunctionsRecruit and oversee volunteers are a high priority as they are essential to Guest Services.Operate the cafe & grill according to CCV operating procedures.Train and monitor volunteers to keep with CCV operating standards.Continual training of volunteers with proper techniques and in conjunction with Maricopa County Health regulations.Operating the POS systems and handling money.Make depositsEquipment maintenance and cleaningMaintain the appearance of the grill and its cleanliness.Supporting other ministry activities as needed for church events and programmingEnsure that the Commitment to Excellence and Create the Plus are consistent with CCV Core Values.Qualifications

Minimum 6 months food industry experience requiredFood Handler's Card is necessaryUnderstanding of kitchen processes is a strong assetHigh School diploma/equivalentCatering Experience is preferredWorking Conditions5/6-hour weekend shifts: Saturday, Sunday, and Monday with time off to attend a service (extra hours are determined by events on campus)4/5-hour weekday shifts: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for the general public as well as staff.The expectation is to work weekends and holidaysStanding on feet for an entire shift, excluding two fifteen-minute breaks and a lunchRepetitive motions including but not limited to bending, lifting, cuttingAbility to lift 50 lbs.Extreme temperatures (hot and cold)
