POSITION TITLE:
Speech-Language Pathologist
FLSA:
Exempt
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must hold proper state certification/licensure including a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
REPORTS TO:
Principal and/or other Supervisor
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
200 days
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
QUALIFICATIONS
:
Applicants must be licensed by the Virginia Board of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology. Applicants must possess proper written and oral communication skills; have ability to work effectively with school personnel, students and parents; have effective leadership skills; and a good knowledge of position.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:Abide by state statutes, school board policies and regulations.Attend meetings and performs duties as assigned by administrators or supervisors.Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy and administrative regulation.Serve on committees as assigned.Remain current on instructional practices in education. (e.g. instructional technology)
