$380,000 - $425,000 a year
Description
The Department of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Rochester Medical Center is seeking a new faculty member with special interests in Advanced (Interventional) Endoscopy and/or digestive health are also welcome to apply. The division is the region’s leading tertiary/quaternary level academic GI & Hepatology practice with an excellent national reputation, including “high-performing” status granted by US News and World Report.
The Division enjoys a large robust regional referral practice in gastroenterology Sub-specialties with investments in industry-leading endoscopic technology and excellent facilities, support and infrastructure. Candidates should have a strong commitment to patient care and teaching. Various clinical research opportunities are available through a well-staffed clinical trials section within the division.
Academic rank and salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. The positions offer highly competitive academic institutions. Signing bonus, relocation package, generous vacation and CME benefits are available.
Qualifications
M.D. Degree or equivalent
Completed Fellowship in Advanced Endoscopy
Must obtain a New York State Medical License prior to start date
Eligible for a Faculty Appointment at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry
Must meet all credentialing requirements
Eligible for Board Certification in Gastroenterology
Post offer Drug Screen and Health Assessment required
Compliance with University and New York State health requirements
