is a 32-bed general surgical unit. The unit offers three levels of care: Floor, Telemetry, and Intermediate Medical Care (IMC). You will learn many valuable nursing skills through a comprehensive structured unit orientation and attend core Department of Surgery courses.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent.Knowledge of nursing process and social, behavioral, biological, and physical sciences as normally acquired through completion of an approved practical nursing program.Active Maryland Board of Nursing (MBON) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).Six months of recent related health care experience preferred.Active CPR/BLS certification required. AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted.
Responsibilities:Work under the supervision of a registered nurse to attain excellent patient care.
Excellent communication and attention to detail.Upholds the system's mission and vision.

Nurses hired with an Associate's degree
in nursing must enroll in an accredited BSN/MSN program within 1 year of hire and complete the degree within 5 years of your start date.
