Trusted.SPA has an immediate need for a newly created Contracts Director position due to company growth.The SPA Contracts Department strategically supports corporate Divisions and Groups business objectives.Responsibilities
The Contracts Director is responsible for all aspects of SPA Division's contracting process to address business development from proposal through contractual closeout while managing a Contracts Team. The Contracts Director is responsible for the full contract life-cycle, including negotiating with prime contractors and the Government to represent SPA's business interests and compliance requirements. Candidate will be familiar with all forms of government contracts, be a working manager, and able to work and lead in a team environment.Qualifications
Required Qualifications:15+ years of US Government contracts management as a prime contractor with experience across large multi-million-dollar programs.
10+ years of leadership of prime contractual organizations with oversight of direct reporting employees15+ years of combined experience with FAR/DFAR and/or intelligence community policiesMust be a US Citizen and can obtain and maintain a US TOP SECRET clearance, to support government contracts, as may be required.Candidate must have experience and a thorough knowledge of all aspects of contract formation, administration, Multiple Award Contracts (MACs) and contracts awarded under GSA schedules.Desired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or NCMA certificationExperience briefing senior executivesLeadership of direct reportsFlexibility in work location: Ideally, the Contracts Director will work part of the weekly schedule in the SPA Facility. The extent of the weekly schedule would be discussed during the hiring process.
