Venture Global LNG ("Venture Global") is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. We are looking for a Quality Manager in Corpus Christi, TX (Fab Yard) to establish, implement, and periodically evaluate the Quality Management System for our fabrication facilities to ensure the organization's construction operations maintain compliance with all project specifications, drawings, codes, standards, and all federal, state, and local requirements.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the Quality Oversite of all construction activities performed by contractors and sub-contractorsReview and approve Project Quality Procedures, and Inspection and Test Plans to be implemented on the project siteReview quality control documentation such as checklists, logs, and reports for effectiveness, accuracy, and relevanceManage a team of Quality ProfessionalsConduct random assessments to gauge the overall performance of the Project Quality Management SystemWhere necessary, issue Corrective Action and Non-Conformance reportsCollaborate with both internal and external management and senior staffReview of Final Record Books for compliancePeriodically report the status of quality pertaining to construction activities and project quality documentation to executive leadership and, when required, regulatory agenciesQualifications
A Bachelor of Science degree in Quality Assurance is ideal; however, years of service in similar roles demonstrating capabilities could be substitutedA minimum of 10 years of experience in the Quality field with at least 5 years in a Management or Leadership RoleExperience in LNG liquefaction facilities preferredAbility to perform multiple tasks, work within project deadlines and adjust as priorities changePossess the ability to mentor others through technical training and guidanceCan read and interpret engineer drawings to include P&IDs, Civil/Structural plans and details, Electrical Wiring Diagrams, Piping Isometrics, etc.Broad knowledge and understating of all industry codes, standards, and industry best practicesExhibit excellent written and oral communication skillsHave advanced computer experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Projects, PowerPoint, and Excel Work productsMust have a current or ability to obtain a TWIC CardPreferred Minimum Certifications
