Primary Purpose:The Talent Management Manager is responsible for managing transactions related to employee compensation. This position continuously improves operations, decreases errors in compensation pay, streamlines work processes, and coordinates internal resources to provide quality, seamless customer service.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Collaborate with TM Operations Director to offer network-wide training content creation and continuous stipend process improvement.Manages the development, implementation, and administration of additional compensation programs.Provides advice to campus based and CMO staff on stipend and extra duty pay and policy interpretations.Manages annual salary compensation process.Manages and makes recommendations to improve compensation-related programs and incentive plans.Responsible for regular supplemental pay (stipend, extra duty, etc.) to the Operations Director.Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.Executes all aspects of data and records management for Uplift's employee population, for supplemental pay including all stipends and extra duty compensation ensuring correct assignment information, pay information, and offer letters.Manages the collection, preparation, organization, and maintenance of all stipend planners.Participate in market study projects as needed.Monitors the effectiveness of existing stipend practices and recommend changes that are consistent with compensation trends.

Education, Experience, and/or Certification(s)

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, human resources, or related field.Experience Requirements:

Demonstrate ability to keep information confidential, demonstrated problem solving, time management and priority setting skills and a minimum of (3) three years of progressively responsible experience in employee compensation, knowledge of laws and regulations as they apply to base compensation and incentive compensation programs, company policies, and operations.Special Skills/Certifications:

SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), or Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI- PHR), or (SPHR) and certified compensation professional credentials preferred, or willing to obtain within 12 months of employment.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to feel, touch and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and use stairs. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

Travel occasionally between the Central Management Office and Uplift campuses.

Starting Salary:

$65,000
