Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Job Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a hospital setting License: Active compact license Certifications: Current RRT credential, Current BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - NICU experience and Adult experience- ICU Experience- Candidates must enjoy a fast-paced environment Job Description: - Provide respiratory therapy to patients in a hospital setting.- Perform procedures such as: - Nebulizers - BIPAP/CPAP - Ventilator management - Arterial Blood Gases- Work collaboratively with a team of 25 staff members on a unit with 430 beds.- Manage patient ratios with normal floor assignments of 20-25 treatments per round.- Utilize equipment including oxygen, BIPAP/CPAP, ventilators, nebulizers, and blood gas machines.- Document patient care using the Meditech EMR system.- Participate in rotating weekend shifts, with an on-call preference for one 24-hour shift every 5-6 weeks.- Maintain professionalism and adhere to the dress code of Navy Blue scrubs.
