Overview
Performs assignments and provides support as it relates to the Company’s overall Compensation, Benefits and Total Rewards initiatives under the guidance of Human Resources management.
Responsibilities
YOUR MISSION:
Performs assignments and provides support as it relates to the Company’s overall Compensation, Benefits and Total Rewards initiatives under the guidance of Human Resources management.
A DAY IN THE LIFE:
Assists Human Resources management in the overall administration, communication, and analysis of salary programs, incentive programs, Benefit offerings, Promotion process; annual compensation planning; bonus plans, merit plans, salary structure, job descriptions and performance evaluations.
Participates in development of, design, delivery, implementation, and execution of a competitive compensation/total rewards.
Performs market pricing; benchmarking and evaluates data surveys and internal analysis to determine appropriate total reward and compensation components (range, structure, bonus level, etc.) according to compensation guidelines to ensure internal and external competitiveness.
Prepares data, conducts, and participates in national, regional, and local salary, economic and employment surveys.
Creates, reviews, modifies and audits new/existing job descriptions. Applies and recommends appropriate FLSA classification/exemptions in accordance with Department of Labor guidelines.
Conducts internal equity reviews as needed. Advises Human Resources management by recommending appropriate compensation actions.
Collaborates with HR Business Partners and business units regarding compensation related tasks, to include job descriptions, job families, career paths, succession planning initiatives, etc.
Assists with reviews of existing and proposed statutory requirements governing compensation administration and recommends appropriate courses of action. Including review of DOL and EEOC opinion letters as it relates to comp related matters and compliance audits
Assures through audits, reports, and personal contact that company compensation/total rewards programs are consistently administered in compliance with company policies and government regulations. Proactively identifies issues and recommends actions to address.
Supports Benefits programs, including administrative procedures, guidelines, 401K assistance, employee programs, well-being events and engagement activities.
Assist with open enrollment process for active/inactive employees.
Conduct ongoing data audits for benefits enrollment administration.
Benefits billing, reconciliation, and payment. Ability to pull and provide knowledgeable interpretation of financial data and enrollment information.
Health & Welfare compliance knowledgeable of benefits compliance rules, ERISA, FMLA, HIPAA, PHI, COBRA, ADA, ACA, and support non-discrimination testing. Stay abreast of changes in legislation and implement necessary changes to policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
Benefits communications updated in portal with compliance notices.
MUST-HAVES:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of two (2) years direct experience in a compensation / benefits function, including plan design and implementation; or five (5) years of direct experience in a compensation and Benefits function; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with salary structures, benchmark data, pay practices, bonus programs and job descriptions/evaluations.
Knowledge of compensation theories and practical applications.
Experience supporting Open Enrollment for Health Benefits
Experience and strong knowledge of HRIS systems (Workday preferred).
Strong project management and organization skills with attention to detail.
Strong knowledge of human resource regulations, best practices, policies, and procedures.
Must have good understanding of OFCCP, EEOC and FLSA regulations.Previous work experience in a cross-cultural, international environment preferred.CCP or PHR preferred.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel (i.e., pivot tables, V-lookup, formulas, etc.), PowerPoint and Windows based databases as appropriate to the position and assignment.
