Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Staff Global Supply Manager supporting procurement process related to plastic resins. This role involves developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of plastic resins to meet the company's production needs. They must identify, develop, and manage the global Supply Chain. He or she will help establish our global supply chain strategy, support cross-functional teams during the development and industrialization phases and drive sound business decisions throughout the product life cycle.

You Will:

Develop procurement strategies and policies to optimize the sourcing of plastic resins while achieving cost savings and quality objectives.Analyze market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supply chain risks to anticipate and mitigate potential disruptions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with production schedules and business objectives.Negotiate supplier contracts, pricing agreements, and service level agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions.Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supplier performance and conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.Coordinate with internal stakeholders, such as production, quality control, and logistics teams, to ensure seamless execution of procurement activities.Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization within the plastic resin supply chain.Conduct cost-benefit analyses and make recommendations for sourcing alternatives or process improvements to enhance efficiency and competitiveness.Track and analyze procurement expenditures, variance against budget, and cost-saving initiatives to support financial reporting and decision-making.Identify and assess risks within the plastic resin supply chain, including supply shortages, price volatility, and geopolitical factors.Monitor geopolitical developments, trade policies, and environmental regulations that may affect the procurement of plastic resins and adjust strategies accordingly.Travel 15-25% to visit suppliers to perform business and program reviews.

You Bring:

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.Several years of experience in resin procurement, supply chain management, or materials management, with a focus on plastics or polymers.Proven track record of successfully managing procurement activities and supplier relationships in a manufacturing or distribution environment.Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office suite.Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards governing the procurement and handling of plastic resins.Leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
